Hello! I’m Atul Anand, a cybersecurity and network security professional from Patna, Bihar, with close to six years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity domain. My journey has been driven by a passion for technology and problem-solving, with a strong foundation built through academic excellence, rigorous preparation for competitive exams, and hands-on experience with leading global technology firms.

Academic Journey

I began my academic journey in Patna, Bihar, where I completed my 10th grade under the ICSE Board, followed by my 12th grade (2014) under the CBSE Board.

In 2015, I pursued my passion for technology by enrolling in Chandigarh University, where I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science as part of the 2015–2019 batch.

Key Academic Achievements

🏅 Secured All-India Rank 363 in the National Mathematics Olympiad during 10th grade.
🏆 Scored 95% in English subject CBSE 12th Board Exams (2014) – recognized as the school topper.
📚 Built a solid foundation in computer science principles, computer languages, and software development during engineering.
📱 Android Development:
Learned the fundamentals of Android app development and built a functional "Safari App" for Android phones. The app was designed to enhance user experience for travel and wildlife exploration, incorporating features like location-based content, image galleries, and user-friendly navigation.
💻 Exploration of Information Technologies:
Gained insights into broader IT concepts including cloud computing, cybersecurity basics, and data analytics through elective courses, workshops, and personal exploration.

Professional Journey

Wipro Technologies (June 2019 – 2023)
Joined Wipro Technologies as my first IT professional role in June 2019. Designated as Cybersecurity Consultant, I specialized in network security, working with technologies that allowed me to understand the intricacies of networks, IP and MAC addressing, and cyber threat vulnerabilities in real-world scenarios. My role helped me build foundational knowledge in cybersecurity concepts such as AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) and provided valuable exposure to various cybersecurity tools.

Tech Mahindra (March 2023 – 2024)
In March 2023, I transitioned to Tech Mahindra as a Senior Network Engineer. In this role, I further honed my expertise in network security and gained specialized experience working with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine). This role provided me the opportunity to work with cutting-edge network security solutions, expanding my skill set in managing and securing enterprise-level networks.

Reliance JIO (July 2024 - 2025)
In July 2024, I took on the role of Technical Manager at Reliance JIO, one of the most respected organizations in the telecommunications sector. I was part of the Network Planning and Architecture team, managing Cisco ISE on a PAN India scale. This role allowed me to gain deeper insights into the telecommunication industry, working with large-scale infrastructure and security solutions. I learned new technologies and enhanced my understanding of network planning and security in a vast enterprise environment.

LTIMindtree (April 2025 – Present)
Currently, I work with LTIMindtree as a Specialist in Cybersecurity, where I am responsible for security access control, ensuring the reliability and security of customer networks and infrastructure. This position allows me to apply my knowledge of cybersecurity and network security at a higher level, safeguarding critical infrastructure for clients while continuing to learn and grow in the field.

Cybersecurity: Expertise in NAC solutions vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and implementing security measures.

Network Security: In-depth knowledge of IP and MAC addressing, firewalls, and security protocols.

Cisco Technologies: Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ISE for network access control and identity management, Cisco Stealthwatch , Zscaler proxy.

Telecommunication Networks: Exposure to large-scale telecommunication network architecture and security, particularly in managing infrastructure across PAN India.

Security Tools & Solutions: Knowledge of industry-standard tools and methodologies for securing enterprise networks and systems.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage and execute complex cybersecurity projects in large organizations.

Skills & Expertise

As I reflect on my journey so far, my primary goal is to continue expanding my knowledge and expertise in security products and advanced cybersecurity solutions. I aim to work in a reputed organization, taking on more leadership responsibilities and contributing to the organization’s growth by providing reliable and secure IT solutions. In the future, I aspire to be in a role where I can significantly impact the cybersecurity domain and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, I have a long-term goal of pursuing MS in Computer Science from a reputed international institution to further enhance my academic credentials and technical expertise.
Alongside my professional journey in cybersecurity, I carry a deep-rooted passion for writing on social issues that matter. My goal is to use my voice to enlighten, engage, and inspire society, even if in a small way—because every thought-provoking word can spark a bigger change.
I aspire to contribute to newspaper columns and respected digital platforms where large, diverse audiences engage in meaningful conversations. Through these writings, I hope to highlight everyday societal challenges, amplify unheard voices, and encourage collective action.
For me, writing isn’t just an outlet—it’s a commitment to contribute toward making this world a better, more sustainable, and compassionate place to live, grow, and thrive.
