Project Overview:
This was my first major project, where I was entrusted with managing and running the customer network over Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) as a Network Access Control (NAC) solution. The project involved providing 24/7 support and ensuring the smooth functioning of the ISE solution, which was deployed in a standalone environment.
Responsibilities & Key Activities:

User and Device Authentication Support: As part of the L1 & L2 Support, I addressed user and device-level authentication issues, ensuring that access was granted securely and efficiently across the network.

Cisco ISE Management: I was responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of the ISE solution, which included tasks such as:

MAC Bypass Whitelisting: Ensured that trusted devices could bypass authentication without compromising security.

Network Device Integration: Handled the integration of various network devices, ensuring seamless communication between the ISE solution and the customer’s infrastructure.

Health Checks & Maintenance: Performed regular health checks to monitor the status of the ISE deployment and resolve any operational issues that arose.

Issue Resolution: Acted as the first point of contact for any issues related to user or device access, working to identify and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime.

Customer Interaction: Worked closely with the customer’s team, ensuring their network infrastructure was fully optimized and secure, delivering high-quality service support.​

As part of the global cybersecurity team, I was responsible for managing and supporting the deployment of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) across three major regions: EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), AMER (Americas), and APAC (Asia-Pacific) for L'Oréal Paris. This involved providing continuous 24/7 support and ensuring the smooth operation of Cisco ISE along with other security products in their IT infrastructure.

Responsible for ISE upgradation and patching, ensuring the system was up-to-date and secure against vulnerabilities.

Led day-to-day troubleshooting activities, addressing issues related to both RADIUS and TACACS protocols, ensuring minimal disruption to the client’s operations.

Worked with a global team to resolve network authentication and access issues in real-time, prioritizing security and uptime.

Provided L1 support for other critical security products, including Zscaler Proxy and Firewalls, ensuring the customer’s broader security infrastructure remained secure and operational.

Project Overview:
I was responsible for managing the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for Thomson Reuters, overseeing both their Enterprise and Data Center (DC) Infrastructure. My primary focus was ensuring secure network access control and managing other Cisco products such as Cisco CSPC (Cisco Smart Playbook Console) to support seamless operations across the enterprise network.

Created and enforced new policies within Cisco ISE for device addition and network access control, ensuring strict security measures were in place for new devices and network changes.

Network Planning and Architecture

As a Technical Manager in the Network Planning and Architecture team at Reliance Jio, I oversee the management and operation of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) across 60 nodes PAN India. My role demands a high level of responsibility and technical expertise to ensure the secure and seamless functionality of the AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) protocol that supports our extensive network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Cisco ISE Management: Spearheaded the management of Cisco ISE with 60 nodes distributed nationwide, ensuring stable operations and handling of security protocols critical to the functioning of Reliance Jio’s network.

Upgradation and Expansion: Led the efforts in upgrading and expanding the Cisco ISE infrastructure, aligning it with the latest security and scalability standards to meet the evolving needs of a large-scale telecom network.
